The Polyphonic Spree

Dallas based psychedelic gospel-pop orchestra Polyphonic Spree will land at The House of Blues in February for a stop during Phase One of their 2012 Me + You Tour. The Spree are no strangers to NOLA, whose notable stops include: opening for David Bowie at The State Palace for his “A Reality Tour” Jazz Fest late night, their highly praised Voodoo ’04 set and the sweltering, over the top Howlin’ Wolf show in 2003. They also have had the distinct privilege of doing a few international tours with our own New Orleans Bingo! Show, with whom they share a commmon member in New Orleans native Rick Nelson. Here’s to hoping we get some collaboration like in the second video below.
